My Review On Eco-Friendly Products

I love that a lot of my friends are transitioning into a more minimal and eco-friendly lifestyle. It is so much more sustainable and rewarding. With that said, I’ve had a good share of eco-friendly products that I’ve used in my home and would like to share with those who are still looking for that right fit into their home.

1. Mrs. Meyers

I got the whole cleaner set to start off my eco-friendly bundle so I had a variety of these to use. I do have to say that I did NOT like Mrs. Meyers products because the scent was way overpowering. I chose lavender for the daily cleaner and it was almost unbearable and not just for me but for everyone else in my household. I discontinued using them immediately.

2. Grove Collaborative

Those who watch my stories on social media know how much of an advocate I am for Grove and there’s no bias or affiliation with them at all. They have so many products that go from daily cleaners to sustainable dish sponges and household items. I love and vouch for Grove Collaborative so much. I get my quarterly order from them for my household. I love it!

3. Young Living

I haven’t branched outside of their essential oils but I really like the diffuser and their peppermint essential oils. I can’t live without it, to be honest. They’re pretty eco-friendly and sustainable as well. Those are the only two things I like from Young Living though but they play a big part of my life!

4. 4Ocean

Their products are available at my local aquarium and I got their reusable metal straws and straw cleaner along with a bracelet made from all the recycled plastic they retrieve from the ocean. Their cause is not only eco-friendly but they also help clean the oceans up from plastics. I love what they stand for and happily purchase their items!

Bonus*

Some items that aren’t a big brand name that I use religiously are:

Wool balls for the dyer – These have literally changed my life. They keep the clothes apart and dry and I will never go back to dryer sheets again!

Reusable zip lock bags – These are available almost everywhere and I love their versatile uses!

Bamboo bed sheets/pillow covers – These make SUCH a huge difference because they keep you cool throughout the night. Cotton absorbs so much heat and bamboo sheets do not! Life changer right there!

I hope this has given you some insight on eco-friendly products and their uses. Also not all products are eco-friendly, even if they claim so do your research and know where the product is coming from and what’s in it.

Love,

Melissa Lee
